AI Mail MCP

Pricing

Pay only for what your agents use.

Prepaid credit, priced per unit. No plans, no subscription, no seats: every mailbox, send, received message and byte stored is charged a little at a time, and tool calls are free.

Try it free for 7 days: one sandbox mailbox that can send to yourself. No card needed: your agent calls start_sandbox. How the sandbox works.

Get an address on myaimail.net, or use your own domain. A mailbox on myaimail.net works at once, with no DNS to set up, at the same price as any other mailbox. How shared addresses work.

The price list

Everything AI Mail charges for. There is no free plan: an account buys credit and its use draws on it. A new account can try one sandbox mailbox free for 7 days first.

Many email services sell sending in monthly plans, so you pay for volume you may not use, and a mailbox to receive at is often a separate product. Here each unit has its own price and an idle agent costs little more than its mailbox.

How billing works

Prepay by card

Your agent calls add_funds for $10 to $500 ($20 suggested) and gets a Stripe Checkout link for a person to pay. The agent never sees card details, and the account owners are emailed the link. At most $1,000 of top-up links a day.

A monthly limit by default

$25 a month for the first 30 days after your first top-up (or until your second), then $100. Need more? Request an increase: an owner approves it in the console, unless support set your account's limit, in which case support reviews it.

Sends are checked first

Sends and model checks are checked against your credit and limit before they run, and stop when the credit runs out (until the next top-up) or when the monthly limit is reached (until next month or an approved increase).

Receiving is never refused

Mail is never refused or delayed for billing reasons, even with no credit left. Mailbox days, receiving and storage are charged daily after the fact, up to the credit left; the rest is written off, never billed later, so usage never pushes your balance below zero.

Forwards wait for credit

An automatic forward is a paid send. Before your first top-up, or when the credit or limit is used up, the forward is held and listed for the owners to forward by hand; the message itself is received and stored as usual.

Every charge is visible

billing_status and the console's Billing page show the balance and every charge. Refunds and card disputes take the credit back.

Limits

Safety limits, not price tiers. We can raise them for an account on request.

Questions

Do I need my own domain?

No. Get an address on myaimail.net, or use your own domain. A prepaid account can create up to 5 mailboxes on myaimail.net, AI Mail's shared domain, with create_mailbox: they receive and send from the first minute, with no DNS to set up, and cost the same as any other mailbox ($0.25 a month). Because every account on myaimail.net shares its sending reputation, each of those mailboxes sends to at most 200 recipients a day, its sends are always checked by the outgoing guard, aliases and a catch-all are not available there, names that read as a brand's or AI Mail's own are refused, and an address is never handed out twice. Your own domain has none of those limits.

Is there a free plan or a trial?

There is no free plan: AI Mail is prepaid from $10, with no subscription and nothing billed that you did not fund. There is a free 7-day sandbox to try it: a new account gets one sandbox mailbox (start_sandbox, once per verified email) that receives mail from anyone (up to 100 messages) and sends only to your own verified email and to other sandbox mailboxes (up to 25 recipients a day), with 20 model checks. Custom domains, more mailboxes, aliases, forwarding and webhooks need a top-up. After 7 days the mailbox stops sending and receiving, and its mail is deleted 7 days later; top up before then and it becomes a normal mailbox, with every sandbox limit lifted. Outside the sandbox, until your first top-up you cannot send, run model checks, or create mailboxes or domains.

What counts as a send?

Every recipient of a message: one message to three people (to, cc and bcc together) is three sends. The first 50,000 recipients in a calendar month (UTC) are $0.80 per 1,000; the rest of that month is $0.60 per 1,000. Failed sends and dry runs are not charged.

Is the spam and intent classification extra?

No. Sorting each arriving message and applying your labels is part of the receiving price, $0.10 per 1,000 messages. A mailbox never pays more than $1.00 a month for receiving: past 10,000 messages in a month, receiving in that mailbox is free and new mail is sorted by simple rules only, without the model, until the month ends.

What happens when my credit runs out?

Sends and model checks stop until the next top-up. Receiving does not: mail keeps arriving and is stored, and the charge the credit cannot cover is written off, not billed later. Automatic forwards are sends, so they are held and listed for the account owners to forward by hand.

Can I cap what my agents spend?

Yes. Every account has a monthly spend limit: $25 for the first 30 days after the first top-up (or until the second top-up), then $100. An agent can ask for more with request_limit_increase. An owner approves it in the console, unless support set the account's limit; then support reviews the request.

Can prices change?

We tell account owners before a price changes, and the price list your agent sees (billing_status, /pricing.json) is the one billing uses. This list is version 2026-10-12.

Give your agent a real inbox.

Connect in one line, then add $20 of credit when you are ready to send.

To add funds, ask your agent to call add_funds: it returns a Stripe Checkout link for a person to pay. Account owners and admins can see the balance and every charge on the console's Billing page. Questions about pricing: ben@hapi.vc. Use is subject to the Terms.
