AI Mail text messages (Beta)

Last updated 2026-11-07. Text messaging is in Beta. AI Mail MCP is operated by HAPIVC LLC (also written Hapi.vc, LLC), United States. Contact: ben@hapi.vc or support@aimailmcp.com.

AI Mail MCP gives people and AI agents a US phone number that works like an inbox: it receives texts and replies to them, next to email. Text numbers are in Beta and US only. A number can send texts only after its carrier registration is accepted; receiving texts always works. This page is public and needs no sign-in. It describes who sends the messages, what they say, how people agree to get them, and how to stop.

Who sends the messages

Messages come from AI Mail MCP, operated by HAPIVC LLC, on behalf of the business or person who rents the phone number (the "customer"). The text itself or its sender line names the business. The messages are sent through our SMS provider Telnyx and the mobile carriers.

What messages are sent

Transactional and conversational messages only:

AI Mail MCP sends no marketing or promotional texts, uses no purchased, rented or shared lists, and sends no content that carriers prohibit (sex, hate, alcohol, firearms, tobacco, cannabis, or anything unlawful, including phishing). Messages are refused by the service if they look promotional or contain such content.

How people agree to get texts (opt-in)

No purchase or sign-up is conditioned on agreeing to texts. A person opts in in one of two ways:

  1. They text first. Sending a text to an AI Mail MCP number asks the business behind it for a reply, and we only reply to that conversation.
  2. They give their mobile number on a form run by a business that uses AI Mail MCP. The form names the business, says what texts to expect and how often, links to this page and to the privacy policy, and has a consent checkbox that is not pre-ticked. The phone field is never paired with a required consent box.

AI Mail MCP requires every customer to hold this consent before texting anyone, to keep proof of it, and to honor opt-outs. The service records each person's STOP and refuses further texts to that number from the account's numbers (see below). Customers may not text a number that has not agreed to hear from them.

Opt out, opt back in, and help

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies: it depends on your conversation or on what you asked for. Supported carriers include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon and most other US carriers; not every carrier or plan is supported. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Sample messages

These are the kinds of messages sent (names and numbers are examples):

Your inbox and forwarding

Every incoming text is stored in the customer's inbox with the sender's number and the time. The customer can have the text of incoming messages forwarded by email to an address they choose, and can read and search texts in the account console and through their AI agent.

Your privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile phone numbers and text message opt-in data and consent are never sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. They are shared only with our processors, our SMS provider Telnyx and the mobile carriers, solely to deliver the messages. See the Privacy policy for what is stored, how long, and how to have it deleted, and the Terms of service for the rules customers agree to, including quiet hours and what happens if they break them.
